Chris's Birthday!

Birthday's are a big deal in my house! I love celebrating for the individual person's special day. They get to choose what they want for dinner and what kind of cake.

March 11 was Chris's 38th birthday! Chris wanted pasta, meatballs and sausage. Cake was our favorite ice cream cake! Although, Casey is always disappointed because she doesn't like it. She thinks ice cream and frosting together is gross.

Tommy wanted to give Daddy a sledgehammer. Yes, a sledgehammer. I did cheat an told Chris, who gave me one he had so Tommy could give it to him.

He then used it on the cake!

Katie Plans Her Party......

Even though Kate's birthday isn't until May, she is starting to plan it.

I have been teaching her that her birthday is May 14th and she will be 3.
She tells me everyday that her birthday is "14th May"

In the car this morning she informed me she will have cake and candles.

Great, every birthday needs that.

Then she went on to tell me she needs chairs.

She is like her momma. A planner. She wants to make sure I know what her party needs.

She went to dance class and apparently shared that information with the teacher.
Ms. Patty came out and asked me about her birthday. "ummm ya, it is over 2 months away, she just likes to be prepared."

So on May 14th we will have a party with cake, candles and chairs! Easy!

Busy Birthday!

Thank you for all the well wishes on my birthday! I love feeling loved!

Today was so busy. I went to my sister's wedding. Actually, I sorta crashed it. She was having a private ceremony with them and his 2 kids. I really wanted to be there. So I called her a few days ago and asked if I could come. I am so happy I did. She was happy we were there. She didn't have a anyone taking a video, so I made that my job!

Here we are together
The happy family!

Tomorrow I am off to Florida. If the snow doesn't screw up my plans! I am not sure how much I will post. HOWEVER, I do have my cook new Blackberry, so I will try!

35? WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

I am 35 today. I feel like that is an "old" number. Sorry to offend anyone 35 or older.

I have never ever had a birthday bother me.

18- I loved being an "adult"

21- I was able to drink (even though I had 2 kids and was married already!)

30- I felt like I was finally old enough to have kids. Everyone ALWAYS said "Oh my, you are such a baby!" When I hit 30 I felt like they couldn't say that anymore. And they didn't.

35- Well, there was nothing to look forward to. I am determined to be HOT! I am going to start shedding the pounds and look good by summer. That way 35 won't go down as being a bad #!

My new toy!

My birthday is tomorrow! My husband got me a Blackberry! WAHOO! Well, I got it, stole his upgrade to his phone to make mine cheaper! =) He will pay the bill. What a guy.

Although, I have spent hours trying to figure it all out. I couldn't get the email to work. I finally called CS and all it was........a stupid box not checked off! GRRRR.........................

The CS guy did give me his email and direct line for future use. I must have made an impression!

Sami's 15th birthday

Today is my oldest child's 15th birthday. I just can't believe it! It just doesn't seem possible. My son thinks I am only 24, so I guess it is impossible!

Sam is entering High School this year. I know what I was doing at 15 and the trouble I got in when I was in 9th grade, so I am scared! I hope she doesn't give me gray hairs like I must have given my mother.

She has a cell phone, but I surprised her with a new "cooler" one. The Voyager. She is the envy of all her friends. Touch screen phone with a whole keyboard. She is the Queen of text. I don't think kids talk on the phone anymore! They just text all day!

Oh, to be 15 again. Remember those days? I wouldn't go back to them for all the tea in China! At the time I thought I was so smart and I knew everything. I dated older boys and ran with the "partier" group. I never played sports or did any extra curricular activities, who would when you could drink and make out all weekend! I did work though. My very first job at McDonalds. I think I lasted 3 months then got a *better* job, working as a cashier at a grocery store.

Well, Happy Birthday to my baby Samantha. Who, by the looks of her, isn't a baby anymore. =(
