Girls Night Out.......well, early night out!

Isn't is amazing how a girls night out changes when you are in your 30's and have kids? I went out with a few friends. We met at 5:30 and I was home by 9:00! The kicker........9:00 was actually late! I am usually in my jammies getting ready for bed!

When I was in my 20's I would go out and not come home until late. Even if I had to go to work the next morning. I mean, I sat at a desk, if I was tired and had a hangover it was ok.

Not anymore! If I have to wake up at 6:00 to 4 kids, I do not want to be tired or hungover!

Me and a few friends went for dinner and martini's at our favorite local place.

Here we are toasting the night!

The sisters decided to start a photo shoot using the table center piece!

While in the middle of snapping pictures, a woman (who was obviously thought we were crazy!) came over and asked if we wanted her to take a group shot. It turns out she is someone I knew from the gym, 11 years ago!

And yes....one to many Martini's later, I think we should call it a night!

Hilarious! I haven't made it to 30 yet, but 9:00 is late for me too! I think it is most definitely the kids and not the number of years. My kids completely wear me out. It looks like you had fun though!

Wow, to go to bed at 9, even when I was 30, would have been a dream!

Love the flowers in your hair :-)

Love the flowers in the cleavage! Nice touch.

3 kids here - yup - jammies by 9 sounds about right!

Have a great day :)

You're hilarious! That so looks like something i'd do.

Oh and it isn't your 30's, it's just when you have kids. LOL! I like to be home by 9pm too!

Halll-leigh-loo-yeah! Now I don't feel like an old fuddy dud anymore!!

One of my gals moved away about 3 months ago. She came back on a business trip and we all got together for some quality mommy time with other mommies. My hubby was SHOCKED when I was home by 9:30. He was convinced we had no fun. See he can still stay out til midnight at his annual NFL draft party. Even when he PROMISES he'll be home by 10. I tried to explain to him that I get up at 5:30 and don't get to relax for atleast 12-14 hours later. All he has to do is get up (when he feels like it! usually arround 7-ish) shower and go to work for 8 hours One of which is spent at the gym and one at lunch with GROWN UPS!

I LOVE the pics you look my kind of mommies!

Looks like you had a good time! Before i got pregnant this time around i could actually stay out til midnight and be okay the next day...but i know that after i have this baby 9-10 will be the latest i stay out..i don't understand how i used to be able to be out all night long and then wake up and be able to function at work all day long the next day. It just shows how much WORK kids really are!!
