No more potty training here. She just isn't ready. It isn't worth her being scared. She is only 2 1/2. She won't got to Kindergarten diapers. (Hopefully!) So we will try again after the holiday.
I also am keeping her with a sippy cup. Tommy is done, he is old enough. But Katie just isn't ready. All I did was clean up spills. ALL THE TIME. Once in a while she would do good. I am giving her a "Big Girl" cup at dinner and work slowly to the full thing.

We still have sippy cups around here too!
HI I came by from SITS!
Each child is different, let her take all of the time she needs.
what a taxing task!
we used the three day potty training method with our son, our second, and i was shocked with how well it worked! wished i had known of it when training our first!
perfect! good choice I think!
my daughter is 3.5 and isn't potty trained yet. Some kids take longer. Some things you cannot force. Every child is on their own time table.
Kendall is not ready yet. She shows not interest in using the potty. She will demand us to change her diaper as soon as she goes. She will also announce that she has used her diaper no matter where we are. She has never went on the potty. She just isn't interested. I'm not going to push it either. She will do it when she is ready. You are making the right choice.
