No Real Answers.

Today at the allergist they did the allergy testing. They didn't find anything. Zilch....Nada....nothing. He is allergic to nothing. This bothers us because we were hoping to find the "trigger" and be able to control it by taking that "trigger" away.

Instead, it is his asthma. We thought he had a mild case of it. Nope.....they said "moderate". They doubled his meds and added some.

We went in hoping to take away meds and ended up walking out with more meds. Frustrating.

I know all about frustrating! And I know all about expecting to walk away with fewer meds and walking out with more.

This too shall pass.

Hang in there, girl.

Well...that's not what I wanted to hear. I'm sorry, I know how frustrating it can be. Q has been on the maintenance meds for 9 months now and every time we've tried to pull him off it gets worse. On the positive side at least we know that if we keep him on the drugs he breathes just fine...just hard to see your kid on drugs for so long. What'd they give Tommy?

Wow, poor little guy. :( I'm sorry.
They just gave me a Rx for asthma as well. It sucks. I feel like I can never breathe!!

Trying to find triggers...OMG. My youngest (9) gets migraines like I do, but far less often, maybe every 4-6 months if that often. We've had CAT scans, diet monitoring and we can't figure it out. To the dr. again in Jan and then probably to a specialist!

So sorry, that's SO frustrating. Where did you go? Were you in at Children's Waltham, or someplace local? Feel so badly for you, I know answers make it easier....
